Nick's dream for Team Elwood is to create a world where people have the confidence and support to play big in life. He teaches our team to aim for progression, not perfection and believes that improving yourself is a continual journey, rather than a final destination. He has over 10 years experience in the fitness industry and has run more than 15 marathons, including a 100km Ultra-Marathon.

Betsy believes that fitness is mental. You body will only go where your mind will let it, so we must first train our minds. In addition to her love of physical achievement, she has a keen interest in human psychology and the language of the mind. She has conquered many physical feats including half marathons, full marathons, a 100km off-road ultra-marathon, a fitness model comp and an amateur boxing match, but she attributes the successful completion of all of it to having determination, mental grit and mindful resilience.

Betsy Kirk Director

Simon strives to better himself constantly. He believes that to stay the same is to stop living a fulfilling life. He uses this very philosophy when helping his clients achieve their own fitness aspirations.
With 10 years experience and a varied array of qualifications, most recently Olympic lifting, Simon is the old dog with the new tricks.

Jannah firmly believes that exercise is about so much more than just 'working out'. By training intelligently, cultivating healthy movement patterns and building a strong brain-body connection, Jannah will help you explore your body's true potential and experience more strength, skill, freedom of movement, energy and vitality than you ever thought possible!

Jannah Stone

Tom feels it’s important to change fitness motivations and healthy short term habits into long term lifestyle choices in order to reach an individuals goals. He has a strong passion for training clients with sports specific goals coming from a AFL football background himself. He also enjoys training body composition clients with a strong focus on nutrition and eating lean to see physical and mental positive changes.

Tom Becker

Liz believes that the body and mind coexist together and the health of one depends on the other. With 11 years experience in AFL and cricket 2 years coaching Women's AFL, she has a strong passion for supporting and guiding people with their fitness and health aspirations. We have strengths and opportunities for growth and supporting our health. She understands each person is different and each person has their own unique values.

Liz Whitfield

Graham is a strong believer that to create an active, healthy and happy lifestyle, it starts with the belief that it is possible.

 

He also seeks to understand the ‘Why' underneath his clients' health goals. The root of why you want to look better or why you think you should go to the gym and get fitter will be a key driver in your success to achieving your fitness goals. This combined with his genuine desire and skill to help people achieve their nutrition and fitness goals, enables Graham to bring you ever closer to the life you want.

Steph Denny
"If you're having trouble changing your habits, the problem isn't you. The problem is the system."

Steph's goal is to help people physically, mentally and even just to have a laugh. She believes that mental and physical health go hand in hand and that the best medicines for a healthy body and mind are whole foods, laughter and physical activity. 

 

She strives to educate her clients in regards to healthy living, improving quality of life and training safely. Her fitness journey has lead her in many different directions, from yoga to HIIT, sport to resistance training, as well as strength and conditioning. She loves variety in training to keep it engaging and fun.  

 

Steph understands that each individual is different in their approach to healthy living and loves supporting clients to find the approach that works best for them.
