Nick's dream for Team Elwood is to create a world where people have the confidence and support to play big in life. He teaches our team to aim for progression, not perfection and believes that improving yourself is a continual journey, rather than a final destination. He has over 10 years experience in the fitness industry and has run more than 15 marathons, including a 100km Ultra-Marathon.

Simon strives to better himself constantly. He believes that to stay the same is to stop living a fulfilling life. He uses this very philosophy when helping his clients achieve their own fitness aspirations.
With 10 years experience and a varied array of qualifications, most recently Olympic lifting, Simon is the old dog with the new tricks.

Jannah Stone

Tom feels it’s important to change fitness motivations and healthy short term habits into long term lifestyle choices in order to reach an individuals goals. He has a strong passion for training clients with sports specific goals coming from a AFL football background himself. He also enjoys training body composition clients with a strong focus on nutrition and eating lean to see physical and mental positive changes.

Liz believes that the body and mind coexist together and the health of one depends on the other. With 11 years experience in AFL and cricket 2 years coaching Women's AFL, she has a strong passion for supporting and guiding people with their fitness and health aspirations. We have strengths and opportunities for growth and supporting our health. She understands each person is different and each person has their own unique values.

Andrew Merrifield
"We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them."

Having played on Australian national teams, Andrew knows what it takes to hunt down goals and push oneself in every aspect.  Andrew discovered early on that standard single plane strength practices didn’t translate to the complex strength required for his sport. This led him to discovering the world of functional training; especially complex kettlebell and animal flow movements. He uses this experience and knowledge to help build his clients' mobility and allow them to move more freely and with more control - ultimately leading to improvements in their quality of life.

- Bachelor of science – Melbourne University

- Cert III & IIII in fitness – AFA

- Phase 6 – Kettle bell & Animal flow 

- 15 years experience as an athlete across various kayaking disciplines 

- Previous Australian level athlete  - Canoe polo

Blake Nolan

Blake believes that everybody deserves to feel at home, alive, aware, strong and empowered in their bodies, and it is his privilege to assist clients in this process. Blake's lifelong fascination with physical movement and expression has led him to spend over 20 years deeply exploring a variety of disciplines including competitive gymnastics, martial arts, stunt performance, and strength and conditioning. Blake integrates his high level of knowledge and expertise with a compassionate and genuine approach to his clients.
