Tabata

This is a 30min high intensity timed sets session. Each set has both a timed work on rest set.

  • The working set lasts for 20 seconds

  • The rest set lasts for 10 seconds

  • There are 8 sets for 1 round

You will complete a round with either a team, partner or by yourself depending on the sessions structure for the day... Bring a water bottle, you're gonna need it.

The structure will either be...

  • Circuit with multiple exercises

  • Partner super sets

  • 1 exercise for 8 sets and 4-5 rounds

Be sure to book early for the Tuesday class as it's one of the more popular time slots.

Core

This class mainly consists of a variety of different core exercise. These are instructed and guided by a trainer who will observe and correct form from the front of the class.

The exercises change from week to week by the structure stays the same.

Be sure to book for the Wednesday class early as it's one of popular classes.

Bwnc   body weight n core

If pilates is your thing then this is the class for you.

This class has a strong focus on pilates and lots of core. Unlike core this class focuses more heavily on pilates and boy-weight movements.

The class structure consists of one trainer guiding from the front of the class and making corrections to from when needed.

Only the one time slot for this class so book in fast or miss out on a spot.

Boxing

These sessions are not going to turn you into a pro-boxer, but they will help you build coordination and learn the joy of landing a solid punch on some focus pads.

All equipment is provided; boxing knowledge is an advantage, not a requirement.

We don't do sparring, only focus pads and technique.

Flex

The main focus of this class is to help and improve flexibility. This is done through a number of stretches and muscle releasing techniques recognised and utilised by us and other fitness professionals.

These classes are much more free flowing and will usually depend on where everyone is feeling the most restriction through their body.

This class is a great edition to any program structure and can be a useful form of deload to remove in stiffness or soreness from training or stresses of the week.

hirt High intensity resistance training

A class that mainly consists of weights with some body weight to add some down time for the joints.

The class is run as a circuit with timed sets. The exercises change each week with difficulty ranging from beginner to advanced. If the trainer running the class finds you struggling they will ask you'd like a regression to an exercise or another option entirely.

Set times range from..

  • 1:00 minute

  • 00:45 seconds

  • 00:30 seconds

This is a great class to include to your week if you're feeling that you need more time with the weights but are unable to find time to come in to the studio solo or for another session.

Meditation

This class is for anyone looking for a little stress relief or just another way to work on their mindfulness.

There is only trainer who offers this service and thus booking in is a must if you'd like to attend. We will provide you with a mat to sit on and safe environment to practice in. Feel free to bring in your own mat, blanket or cushion to get comfy.

BootCamp

Let's get this out of the way first. The boot camp name is just a name that stuck, this is not your traditional get yelled at and called a bag of dung experience.

The class is held in doors and consists of a variety of different training techniques. Exercises are simple yet challenging and will challenge you in strength and endurance.

The structure of the class very heavily depends on numbers of attendees.

Possible structures are...

  • 10-12 Attendees: 2 rooms: half the class in a room.

  • 6-8 Attendees: 1-2 rooms: Partner super sets/2 teams/1 big group circuit

  • 2-4 Attendees: 1 room: Group Circuit/Partner super set/trainer gets creative

This class is super popular and rarely has low numbers for attendance. Book early.

This class goes for either 30minutes or 45minutes depending on how big the group for the day is.

Seniors Class

These classes are for anyone ranging from the age of 65+. The idea of these classes is to help senior members develop strength, mobility and flexibility to better tackle every day life challenges; similar to but not limited to getting up stairs and up from the floor.
These are low impact and low intensity with a strong emphasis on technique and skill progression.
